banning system (what happened to just kicking and asking people?)

Just because they're regulars they shouldn't be punished as harshly? Some people are more equal than others.

Let me explain the reasoning for Aotsuki's ban first. This guy does whatever it takes to ruin rounds, he inflates on purpose, throws failnades whenever he gets the chance. Everytime he joins rpd he invites a friend and boost them up on the roof . On random he inflates almost 9/10 on the elevator stage. I'm legit dumbfounded that you even mentioned him.

dogG has been here for a couple of years and he plays serious quite a lot of times, but then after a week of playing after his unban he will most likely troll in some form, be it knifing or abusing glitches. Admins warn him multiple times not to do it ingame but he does it anyways, and this process just keeps repeating itself and is the reason why his bans are so long.

When you bring up dogG and Aotsuki it really shows that you have no clue about what you're talking about and use whatever to make a point

Alloa and Ninja i wouldnt say their bans are too harsh but i'm just disapointed in them because i expect better from them. I see these guys everyday on the server playing but wasting other people's time should not be exscused lightly.

I personally enjoy playing with all of them when they actually play the game

It's been 10 months since you made that vote and it seems more people are opposed of it then for it so it's not 50% for that matter also we already had this discussion and Gkuo mentioned it in the previous one as well. One thing you have proven is your stubborness and how you can repeat things forever, even though multiple people disagree with you.

My problem with this is how FinalChaos once again brings up bans/points without knowing the contexts and tries to write this heroic text full of metaphors that have no substance or equivalence to anything but are there to fill up his texts and make it seem better and doesn't in any way back up his points that once again are out of context. It's as if all admins and all players who oppose him have to deal with him are one massive pile of circle jerkers who like to fuck everyone up on purpose and we know we're doing it on purpose. But yes, let us defend the minority of the people who ruin the servers, make up a fake heroic context, and perpetuate the idea of continuously fucking over 99% of the rest of the server. Because fuck them, amiright.

Our ban charts don't lie, but you do. As I pointed out with your last examples and as Kaka pointed out this time, you have not even one single clue about what you are talking about.

You are, literally single handedly, arguing in favour a massive group of people as if they all agree with your opinions of what you think makes the server fun, making up fake contexts, irrelevant metaphors and committing way way too many logical fallacies that it's almost a crime by me to reply to them.

And you know what? I know that if you continue replying to my message or Pan's message you will continue doing this. Because it's the exact same thing you've done for every reply in this thread. No substance, no context, expanding your opinions as if they are the ones of the masses, irrelevant parables and emotions. At this point, I am only replying because it's entertaining for me.

Are you trying to surpass Schicksal as the Stephen King of forum posts?

Alright. Let me help you with this thread and your last two posts.

  1. Yeah, it does seem like people who are breaking the rules are getting banned.
    Being a regular, VIP, Admin or a "Higher Up" does not grant a person the ability to break the server rules. I really don't see the problem here.
  2. We are listening to the wishes of the player-base.
    And yes, there have been multiple votes about such things as "failnades", and other similar "mechanics" that have been restricted to certain maps due to the request of the player-base. Still don't see your point.
  3. We're not targeting regular players with these bans.
    Regular players with a lengthy ban history of 10+ bans are not exempt from our server rules, no matter how long they have been playing.
    They are regulars, they know that knifing will get them banned. They still do it, and get banned.
    It's not our fault. It's their fault for continuing the actions they very well know will get them banned.
  4. I'm glad to hear your concern about the current population of our ZE -server, but to me, it looks like we're doing rather fine.
    Just because the same few "regular" rule-breakers are getting longer bans does not seem to affect the general population of the server.
  5. If you think that players do not want to win maps and only play to fuck around, you're absolutely delusional.
    That might be your own opinion, but it does not reflect the opinion of the entire player-base of the game-mode.
  6. I just want to point out that dogG has a total of 14 bans, most of which are from knifing.
    This particular player knows the rules, and yet, still keeps breaking the same rule or rules over and over again, warranting a longer ban.
    If he wasn't a "regular", I assume he'd be permanently banned by now.
    Also, saying that dogG has been here (Assuming on Unloze) for longer than the Founder of the community is a rather hilarious statement.
    Even if you meant it for Zombie Escape in general, I highly doubt it.
  7. From the content in your recent forum posts, I assume the guilds you've been part of have never been very good or competitive.
    I'm glad you've been able to lead your own guild in WoW, but that is rather irrelevant to this entire matter.
    By the way, mind linking me raid logs, the guild name, or show any progress your guild has done in the past?
    I'm actually curious as I personally have played in rather high ranking guilds.
At the end of this rather long post, I'd like to point out that;
"Fucking everyone on the server in the butt by knifing zombies forward in a map has never worked out better for any player," either. Just saying.

I cannot deny it.. you all make valid points. especially about the banning.

But I do still think my, and i quote: "CounterStrike Zombimod/escape is all about player creativity and incentive which...... by removing everything 'that can create an unexpected event' i.e. fail nades removal (most maps) you ruin that what makes this whole gameplay good."
Still stands. Its my opinion and im entiteled to that. I find it a bloody shame the road Unloze chooses when it comes to server configuration.

Now that we are on this point..

Why not remove the knife from humans entirely on 'normal' non nemesis maps. Knifing will be a thing of the past. Or remove the 'knockback' from knifing. Zombies dont have that knockback so it must be possible.

Another knife in the back of zombi escape and counterstrike source. But it would deal a devastating blow to the knifers camp.

Another poll on the same matter. Almost a tie. If you'd make a vote to extend a map this outcome would not be enough and the vote would be lost. But in changing a server config. Which is a much more big deal than extending some shit map it does get changed.

This all shows how Unloze works. An elitist, selfish group of people who do bend the rules in their favor and don't care about the people that disagree with them. Trust me, your time will come.
 
I don't think you grasp basic statistics to be honest. But it's more fun to argue on your level so xD. I must say, this is getting very entertaining. We need a "Drama section" on Unloze forum. @ZeGaWa can we discuss this? Let's add a "Debate" section. Where anything goes. No rules. Dead man's land. Just random topics debated in heat and passion.

First of all, that poll was about removing failnades, not bringing them back xD. Also... Ignored? I mean, if we'd favour the other 14, the either side would also be ignored. At some point, this isn't about favouring any side but there is some decision that has to be made. You are speaking as if we automatically have to go for the side that you agree with even if they are tied? And from that you automatically derive the conclusion that just because 14 people on the forum got tied with 14 other people on a vote, everyone is wrecking havoc on the server and knifing and shit. Votes are one thing, discussions are another. I suggest you read the comments and discussions on the thread there before you say "deaf ears".

The second poll had more people in favour of not having failnades back but you argue that we should go with the losing side.

I seriously don't see any substance to back up your claim that Unloze is about an elite fascism where we do what we want and fuck people over and you have to belong to the top 1% to have human rights xD You are just now trying to find random topics to prove your points. You went from knifing to complaining about being banned to complaining about ban lengths to complaining about server not having random events that make it fun (aka trolls) and now you bring polls about failnades, totally misinterpret them and ignore 95% of the info in the threads and claim that WE bend the rules and stuff? No admin or higher up is above the rules. No rules are event bent and if they are, as I said, report the admins. You may not see it because you only join the server to knife and ruin rounds, but we do deal with abusing admins and similar events.

Nobody on unloze belongs to any special buddy group. Apart from george maybe. :wlenny:

And at least I did my best... and didn't go down without a fight. See you on the server with only my favorite maps (Atix_panic, Helicopter, Rooftop escapes and boatescape). The other maps you can deal me out.
