Ho-ho-ho-ho!
Christmas season is right arround the corner and this year the Spirit of Christmas will also be in our CSS:ZE-Server!
Starting on 1st December at 0:01 GMT+1 this Event is going to last for more than a month until 6th January 23:59 GMT+1.

During this time random presents will spawn inbetween the humans on ALL MAPS. You can collect these presents by shooting them. Don't worry, if someone shoots a present, the whole human team will be rewarded for it.

So what do I get with those presents?
There are certain Milestones you can achieve by collecting the respective amount of presents for each Milestone.

Infection Effect: 25 Presents
Infecting someone as a zombie or getting infected yourself will leave a random small christmas ornament behind.

Grenade Skins: 75 Presents
Your thrown nades will be replaced with a random small christmas ornament.

Player Skins: 250 Presents
You will unlock the following 3 skins via !zclass.

Additionally the Top Present Collectors will be rewarded with VIP!!
Rank 1 (most Presents collected) - 1 Month VIP
Rank 2 & 3 - 2 Weeks VIP
Rank 4 & 5 - 1 Week VIP

New Commands:
sm_presents [ !presents ]
Shows how much presents you have collected so far and how much you need for the next Milestone

sm_highscore [ !highscore ]
Shows the top present collectors

How about the ZM skin? Is it like the normal, fast or tank ZM? (Or like the VIP)

It's the first time Neon try this kind of Event
So yeah people already have a large ammount of present but the value can be still change, he didnt know people will get present that fast
At least he's trying to bring something different in the community instead of our current normal Event

First of all thanks to @ChivasPL for telling about a nasty little bug. If you unlock the skin now, you dont have to select it again randomly on map change via !zclass.

I may increase the amount of presents needed a bit, but I am not quite sure yet. It was never meant to be a reward only for the top players, but for the normal playerbase.

Alright, I am a bit late, but I finally managed to hand out the VIP rewards.

The Top 5 Collectors are:

1. Alcolo Oasis 2788
2. ChivasPL 2321
3. FroZeeNN 1669
4. Feach 1493
5. Qhs mesrine 1386

Overall 4158 players collected 156605 Presents which is ~38 Presents per player.

710 (~17%) players collected only one single present.

927 (~22%) players unlocked the Infection Effect.
418 (~10%) players unlocked the Grenade Skins.
139 (~3%) players unlocked the Player Skins.


I hope you enjoyed it. I am still open for feedback for future events like this.

It was a fucking brutal and enjoyable event, Thank you Neon for your time and effort in this. This should be actually a 'thing' for our community.
