Harley suggested me that we should re-introduce nemesis as the default game mode on several maps. Xperiaz96 suggested that we instead should make an automatic vote system at the beginning of certain maps where people could vote for if the map should be normal gameplay or nemesis. However after talking with harley we decided not to go ahead with xperiaz suggestion as we felt like the middle ground he tried to create here would not work very well in practice. The process therefore will be the following: In this thread you can suggest maps that you would like to have nemesis enabled on by default.
This thread will run until 12th April, afterwards one or several voting threads will be done where people can vote yes or no for nemesis on all the suggested maps. Personally i hate nemesis but i can admit that we now had a very long period of time where nemesis only was playable by having an admin available and that it might be fair to let people play it as the default game mode on several maps again.
For the suggestions in this thread as well as the after following voting threads its important to understand that i am using the ingame play time on zombie escape to judge if your suggestions and votes will count at all. I dont want people that did not play zombie escape in 2026 to make suggestions in this thread or to participate in the votes, they are irrelevant ghosts. I dont want people to ask their friends that dont even play css to sign up here so they can rig the votes, i dont want people either to make alt accounts to rig the votes. Therefore when you make a suggestion in this thread you also need to post your steam ID in the reply.
When creating the voting thread(s) i will then check your steam ID in the unloze database to confirm that you actually had more than 10 hours of game activity on ze since today. If you have less than that will your suggestion not make it into the vote. And like wise if you afterwards vote in the nemesis threads without barely any activity on zombie escape will your vote be disregarded as well. The right to vote will depend on that you actually are active on zombie escape.
