Laser Map Spam

I know that there's currently an ff cooldown, however, I was wondering if we could do something similar with laser maps as a whole? I know a lot of players get kinda bored of playing cosmo, tyranny, westersand, stalker, etc. all the time, and while yes, they're fun once in a while, as it currently stands I see cosmo, and tyranny being spammed a lot, and it's really annoying, as I often see just whole days wasted on laser maps, meaning many won't play ze.

Tl;dr please put a cooldown on laser maps, similar to ff maps before this turns into nide under pivo

Funny after all these years trying to restrict laser fags, they are the majority of what's left of the dwindling ze community. Kind of ironic is it. Doesn't matter what you do. Unless you outright ban these maps, the server will always gravitate towards laser/ff maps.

Or maybe I'm just talking out of my ass. Sharing cooldown for all laser maps would be a good first step. Maybe take it even further and limit laser maps in nomlist.

Mako is the exception though.:wlenny:

Nah you're being paranoid there Qman, laser fags are not whats left.

Problem is just a couple guys who won't stop nominating and pushing for lasers maps exactly like moltard said.

It has been like that for several weeks now. And the ones responsible for this don't learn and don't care they just want to play laser maps all day even if the server is empty.

And we have been telling these guys to stop the laser chaining but they don't listen.

At some point in a near future we're going to abuse the fuck out of them and automatically remove their nominations, even block them from ever nominating.

Yesterday : mako, feywood, stalker, westersand, tyranny, cosmo chained.

Is that really the fault of the player to spam nom laser maps or is it the fault of the server (map cds, nomlist, voting, etc.)? If these maps are consistently winning back to back, it means that the majority of the server is voting for it. If the admin team believes that it's a minor party influencing the vote, maybe reform the voting and nominating system.

A suggestion would be making the 2nd stage of voting be the top 3 maps instead of top 2 so players aren't forced to vote for a laser map when pitted against an unappealing map. This in combination with limiting laser maps to 2 in nomlist, also guarantees a nonlaser map in the final vote.

Laser maps are fine in moderation and a good majority of the ze community agrees with that. If the server is still spamming laser maps with Willy's suggestion and both of my suggestions then it confirms my initial suspicions.

most of the ff maps and laser maps are only vip. this shows again how much the higher admins are against them. they want to avoid that they get played.

also when mako v5 gets played they start to spam shit like crazy but that Lifeblood of Zombie Escape time how its called doenst fit to mako. its a competitive map you should start that Lifeblood of Zombie Escape time where it fits for example boatescape, paranoid, mountain escape.

but at these maps youre quite and dont allow Lifeblood of Zombie Escape time. this shows again how much you hate the competitive part of css zee lasers maps.
