The UNLOZE mapping contest has already begun for some people dependent on their timezone and is about to begin soon for more people as they hit the 24th of september. The contest will go on for 2 weeks until 8th of september. After that date we will begin with one week of testing the maps. afterwards there will be more weeks where we play the maps for real on many events. Each mapper was given a biome and theme for their maps to go with and they are informed about the rules and directions being set. We currently set the date for 27th november from where on we give nide and sibgamers greenlight to use the contest maps. If we eventually decide we might move the date earlier than 27th november, but for now we request beforehand that both communities wait with adding the maps until 27th november. its our definite deadline for when we greenlight other communities to add them. We have not had a mapping contest since 2023 so its very exciting to get it going again and we hope many nice new maps will come from it.
