As a fan of PC Modding and customization, i'd love to see what you guys have for a rig, specs, any mods you did to it, etc etc =P

I'll start with my (incredibly basic) setup on my workspace (as i am here right now), and will edit the thread later when i get home to present to you #THEUNCLEAN :wlenny:

A simple Acer Aspire E5 with a Quad-Core AMD A4-6210 APU, uses a Radeon R3 integrated graphics and i simply use a second monitor for maximum overheat (also for reading stuff/server managing whilst gaming).

Lol, definitely not cheaper than buying the parts individually. Don't even think about that. Not even close.

If you want a cheap setup, buy the parts yourself and build it yourself. + if something breaks, you dont have to to send the entire rig back. Just the part. Because you have warranty on every single piece of your rig. But this expensive-ass pre-built PC has one warranty, and that is on the entirety of it, not the components.

And like Serra said, most pre-built computers have warranties so the price is usually bumped a bit higher. If you think that the PC may have some issues soon, go for a pre-built. For all else, my personal opinion is that a PC you built yourself is better, especially because you tailored it for your use =P

And here is what i call "the unclean" rig =P

Powered by an Intel Core2Duo E8400 clocked at constant 3.00GHz (changed the multiplier settings to always stay at 9x), 4GB DDR2 RAM @333MHz and a modest nVidia GT240 with 1GB DDR3 VRAM, it's quite the weak build due to the lack of overclock capabilities, but i have my plans set for it... soon ^^

And i'd not be a collector if i didn't have my games collection close, so you can see on the entire desk different systems stored (badly stored but can't find a decent place to store them in) :wlenny:

GUYS HALP!!
Ok guys i am in desperate need of an upgrade. Due to studies i go to another country so i can't buy a tower (unfortunately) so i'll have to go with a laptop.
Pls suggest good laptops that can run CSGO, CSS and games like these decently. My budget is very low (ecksdee student life) so please suggest cheap ones, they can be second hand.

that looks like a pretty cool case, I'm buying parts to make my pc usable soon. my specs are gonna be:

MB: ASRock A320M (the cheapest that can support my CPU xd)
CPU: Ryzen 5 1500X
RAM: 8G Crucial Ballistic Sport DDR4 (to be upgraded when i have moar money)
GFX: GTX 1050ti
and some decent HDD i still have thats 500GB (i'll probably get an SSD when I have the money)

And my case is pretty generic.

The poor people's computer lyf's xd.

That sounds like some nice parts. Please share some pics whenever you have the build! Also, just get an SSD with it. A 7.2, 10k or even 15k rpm disk will be a massive bottleneck for those awesome parts and actually a waste!!

My next upgrade will be a Kraken X52 RGB Water Cooler for my CPU. - Waiting for a price drop before I buy though as currently it's £150!

All done - Unfortunately the 2400mhz Ram didn't work well with Ryzen originally so could only use one stick, I recently upgraded to 3200mhz anyway.

Love the case, love the hardware (except for the stock cooler of course) and love the lighting!!! That's a rig that can last for another 5 years!
