Hello. I had hoped this was the last thing i would get done in 2024 but instead it first seemed to be now. the plugins related to the minigame server are not open sourced due to pan requesting them to stay private. There is also a half life 2 related repository that we wont see a need to open source as we have not made any changes to it and its freely available in the public.

For many years we had a strong sentiment against open sourcing our work. This was because in the old days things were different than what they are now. In the old days nide would just leech off of botox and unloze work and never contribute anything while getting all the benefits from it. therefore we never wanted to open source things because we knew that Ingame and pivovaric never would contribute anything back to the actual community. Not to mention that we had an extremely hostile situation caused by pivovaric who would continue to harass us for a period of around 2 years without Ingame doing anything what so ever against it.

Feeding a hand that was constantly biting us obviously had no appeal. Why the fuck would we give help to a community where the second in command banned our entire admin team, spread lies about us and tried to attack us with dirty exploits while the actual owner gave zero fucks about stopping anything.

I honestly still assume that til this very day in 2025 that Ingame has not contributed anything what so ever to zombie escape in general like plugins, strippers or any type of config files that may be used by others. My view is simply just that the guy exists to take the money from the donations and thats it.

But yeah some years ago Boss, Cmer and later also rushaway started contributing a lot with their open source work. And as such things have in fact changed. we now use some content that nide has created. They are no longer leeching but are instead finally the contributors. Again, it should be consciously healthy to state that this change has happened due to the three frenchies. Meanwhile Ingame,- who is the actual owner behind nide has still never been seen anywhere doing any work that other communities would ever be able to use or benefit from (at least as far as i can tell).

I dont trust Ingame's decision making at all and i can very easily imagine that he eventually at a point in the future would put somebody in charge of nide who would start hostility with unloze again for no reason what so ever and then do absolutely nothing about the dude. If that scenario were to happen it would of course suck big time that they would be able to use unloze content while harrassing us the same way pivovaric did.

However i should not get hung up on worst case scenarios in my head. Boss, Cmer and RushAway have released many things in the name of nide for the public and its time that unloze now also gives back by contributing.

glad its happened but ingame has been selling 90% of these plugins for 50 euros for a while

I greatly appreciate your decision to open-source many of Unloze's plugins and strippers, and I have already begun merging some of your guys' strippers into Nide. I wish to clarify that ever since I took on the role of server manager on Nide, inGame has already taken a hands-off approach to managing the server. Hobbitten and, later on, Rognus are part of the management team that controls the server's day-to-day operations. inGame still regularly helps us by contacting our service provider and complying with any of our requests. Still, it's mainly the effort of the current development, technical administrator, and server management team that keeps everything updated and shared.

Regardless, I greatly appreciate the willingness to help from all of Unloze's staff team, including zaCade, Shino, Moltard, and other staff I missed. I hope we can continue working together to advance CSS ZE, especially with the upcoming update. I look forward to working with you guys some more!
