The nature of the topic might be a bit hard for some people to understand. Currently a mapvoting boost can range between 1 to 5. We could increase or decrease this capacity potentially. if you vote on this thread without understanding the implication that your mapvoting boost is based on your ingame playtime then you should probably not be qualified to participate in voting on this. The current system does treat votes differently dependent on how much time the voter has put into the server compared to everybody else. We can keep the gap as is. narrow it down. or maybe just even expand it.

as said if there are other aspects of mapvoting that people generally are unhappy with then please tell me here so i know. it could be included in a future vote then for the mapvoting system.

As much as I like that idea of the current system with more playtime = more influence over votes, there's no denying it sends a signal to new players that their vote is seemingly irrelevant. You can argue most new players wont notice that their vote has less influence, but I think they eventually pick up on it.

The current change to plugins that is forced due to the algerian pickler crashing us does get a bit in the way of executing the result. Eventually we roll from one version to another of the plugins and that tends to overwrite the state again.

but yes that being said this is the easiest vote as the entire opposition consists of 8 votes meanwhile an entirety of 14 want the ratio to be 1-1 again (i did not count seilos and ulqi's votes). therefore it seems obvious to return the ratio boosters to 1 again instead of being a range of 1 to 5.

I can now confirm ingame that rtv booster, mapvote booster and nomination booster now only give 1.0.
