Been having this issue for the longest time now in ZE. At random points my game will start freezing up, mostly happens when the server has a lot of players on it.

See gif below how it looks like. The UI dissapears and I just get this laglike freeze.
Did some googling some time before but didn't find anything that helped, wanted to try my luck here.

Help is appreciated^^

I oftenly meet internet cuts, and when it happens everything just stops, nothing move anymore. However on your gif, everything on your screen is shaking, so from my personal experience i don't think the problem comes from your internet.

Your packets are hanging, most likely your connection is spiking up in terms of latency. On the worst case... well, could be a graphics issue, but that's VERY far fetched.

Uhhh yes I will do that because nothing really helps me, I highly doubt its my SSD.

It s not just the freezing, voice chat also stutters and will possibly lead up to these freezes I am having. Maybe this info and video can give you a better idea what the problem could be?

Video where it happens:
It actually fixed itself right after I stopped the video

lmao dat Russian music dude xDD

Definitely not the SSD.
Seems very odd, tho. Have you tried verifying the game files?

yes, this issue is present even when I reinstalled Windows, changed SSD's,..
I can literally only play when the server has 30-40 people, any more and the game becomes too shitty of an experience to play (voice chat lag, ingame chat lag, UI dissapearing,...)

like wtf

i have the same thing, i lag and freeze for 2 seconds whenever someone join or someone use the mic (for the first time after joining) and its annoying as hell

A simple "if no success, proceed to next point":
  • Post your specs.
  • Use HWINFO to check processor and graphics card temperatures.
  • If not on a wired connection, try a wired connection.
  • Reinstall Network Drivers.
  • Reinstall COMPLETELY the game (that includes every single file, including common and cloud).
  • Reinstall Steam.
  • Reinstall Windows.
  • Switch to Linux.
  • Commit sudoku.

id rather lag till i die lmao

Nothing worked so far,

if someone find me a solution I will give them 2 csgo case keys (€ 4,50 steam market value)

Things I tried so far: changing SSD's, present on new windows 10 installation, changing compability to windows 7, verifying game files, several console commands.

If it is possible for you, try to play on a full server on another internet connexion with the same computer.

I very very vaguely remember having such weird packet loss/lags when my connexion became shitty for absolutly no reason. I think the cause was a dying modem. Voice chat lags, chat lag...

Does it happen in other (MMO) videogames? Does it happen on youtube with >720p quality? Does it happen on streaming websites such as Twitch ?
Does it happen at any hour or does it happen only at some point in the day?
