Hello to the 5 people who probably will read this. After a longer discussion with some admins we decided to return event rewards again from now on. The major motivation for having them back is that these events were special to many players and that they feel that it has not been the same atmosphere anymore since we removed them. In the past ripper managed many events and gave way too much vip away which was damaging for us.

I do want that every admin who makes an event from now on includes some certain rewards but i do also expect that the admins who make events will discuss with other admins in the ze-discussion channel how long rewards are acceptable so that we do not repeat the same mistake as in the past. The main difference between now and back in the past is that for admins the largest hurdle got removed: handing VIP manually out to the winners after each event. The process of handing event rewards out has been automatized. Every 3 hours a system checks if people got an event reward and then hands it out to them.

If you already have vip then the event reward should stack on top of your already existing time. The way it works now @Admin have to use the command !trackwinners <days> on every event map when its a round where people actually can win vip. So for example on the next upcomming event from bantu where we play lands_of_king_theba bantu or another admin has to do the command: "!trackwinners 3" on each round. The CT who win that round will then inside of the next 3 hours get their 3 days VIP handed out if they have a steam account associated with their forum account.
