Event #236 || Nomination Thread

Keep in mind the following guidelines:
  • You can nominate either a single map or a fitting group of maps, provided that they do not have a senseless long duration (obviously depending on the number of maps you are nominating).
  • Map(s) should be difficult and event-worthy in some way.
  • You may come up with some restrictions or changes for the map(s) (for example no items).
  • Be creative, the more unique event the better.
  • At least 4 likes are required for a nomination to be considered.
  • Only the top 5 will be selected for the poll. If there are no top 5, event managers will have to be selective.
  • Event managers can alter/edit/modify/remove a nomination if they consider it not event-worthy.

Let's just have a casual evening for once eh? Reminiscence about the good times. Before the dark times, before the e̶m̶p̶i̶r̶e̶.... before the same concept was done to the death (FF maps).

I threw in one stage map in there because you guys never play it. NotreDame is a fun map.

ps. dunno honestly if escape_the_eye works on Orange Box CSS, might want to test that (I recall it being broken 10 years ago).

Minas Tirith Hardcore

Based on CoD

We will play ze_LOTR_Minas_Tirith_v3_3

Kickers:
- HUD will be disabled (no minimap, no visible ammo, etc.)
- Meteors instakill any ct (having no skin won't save you)
- Barrels instakill any ct (same range as normal barrel)
- Meteors unbreakable

These following maps are broken in one way or another. Beating them may or may not be possible. They are all fun and entertaining and will require some creativity. Some are easy, some are tricky. Some are challenging in a way that keep you want to retry over and over in hope.

Kicker for eternal void:
To make the map beatable, grenades will be disabled and humans will have unlimited ammo. Only pistols, xm and m249 will be allowed as weapons.
