okay its finally good and done now. nosteamers hear the voice chat perfectly good now as intended.

alright, with two days delay i think the voice chat quality that nosteam hear from talking steam players is finally improved quite a lot. i probably have to work a bit more on it i think however. the update will be pushed tonight to ze.

Since last monday i have been working quite intensively on restoring the nosteam voice chat so that linux users and nosteamers both can hear the voice chat together without either side being handicapped or having to modify their game clients. The changes were placed live on zombie escape now...

Considering the poor state of ze in the past longer time of months i decided to go ahead and remove all perm bans from the servers that existed since 2015. You can get perm banned again if you hack or act very toxic or try to crash the server, amongst other things.

we are today experiencing some problems with OVH which occasionally causes server downtime. currently there is not more information on this.
