Hey, i'd like to share my point of view about the Zombie escape actual settings and MY opinion to what should be removed - nerfed - changed.

i will try to be as straight as possible

From the beginning of Unloze to now, many settings has been added, which changed entirely the gameplay, sometimes dev insert these settings on the server without asking to the players if this idea is good or not.
Also do not forgot that when there are many zombies, it should be harder for the humans to hold a cover.
But for some reason :

1. AntiNoob, i don't really know if everyone really heard about that , but this plugin is : If there are more zombies than humans, then the knockback will be stronger. Which, in my opinion, is completly bad because as i said, Zombies should not be penalized by having higher knockback for killing humans. - Should be removed

2. Zammo, The worst scam ever made :Infinite ammo for 4 seconds, and stronger if you add the Antinoob plugin to it. I still don't get why it is still on the server, Humans got enough help for the cover (Items for example : let's take Makov6 for example, it has short hold - 35 sec Max.. Wind duration : 7 seconds , barriere durations 7+ seconds, Earth 6 seconds, Gravity 6 Seconds, Aqua, 10 seconds... i think you know what i am trying to say , Zammo is just making the game too hard for the zombies..
-Should be removed or Maybe we can limit it to 1 use/ round for only 2 seconds (which gives 30 bullets + Max)

3. Zcleanse, It is not a really bad idea but should be changed on some points :
Should be usable only if there are less zombies than humans, (like when 40% or less of the players that are zombies, they can use Zcleanse, but if there are 41% or more of the players that are zombies they can't use it anymore).

On many maps, the only moment for the zombies to make kills is only Bhop part, or when zombies can have items tho. Otherwise they are not even able to approach the humans with items, knockback, zammo, antinoob.

I might repeat myself, but when zombies takes advantages, they have to use this advantage to crush the humans by the numbers and not to keep being dominated in a 20 vs 40.

Point of views from Admins, dev, SA, owner, Players, Vip are welcome in the comments, let's make it discussable, "why should it stay as it is, why should it be nerfed / removed ,etc...
All point of view matters.

Initially I read the title as "ZR - Settings nowadays" and was mildly surprised somebody cared about ZR this much. Then I started reading.

You're damn right. I remember a time when there was only 900 rounds and 1 grenade. Drop damage! And no transparency. If you're behind a person, that's your problem. And they won the cards. We played much better. And now, so many additions. Horror..
 
Why was antinoob up until this point basically a secret among regular players?

I was thinking about placing a serious response but these two pictures says it all.
Neon I am sure you made these plugins with good intention but you should know better than anyone that if you try to change something you will make enemies. After the many months these plugins are on the server some people still aren't okay with them, so how hard is it to explain why you did it. Reflection is always a good thing. And shame you for all the admins that like this useless meme afterwards instead of sharing a decent structured opinion why you agree/disagree.

I liked Neon's comment more as a response to what middy had to say, however i agree with most things that sanjizz said. I don't get the fuss about zammo however since the main point just revolves around maps with items and the combination of infinite ammo makes that unbalanced.

Where do you guys draw the line on rebuys for example? Is it fair just because it has a slight drawing delay and this small delay is what gives zombies the opportunity? In the end i just see zammo as a way to make the game more accessible to newer players that doesn't have a clue about rebuys or binds

this was a response to midys comment. and we had this discussion waaaay too often already. we even had an ingame poll about it.

We've had this same exact conversation multiple times, both internally and not. There were polls, threads, long forum/discord discussions, etc.

One thing is for sure though, if nobody said anything from the upper management about AntiNoob, nobody would've said a thing and I mean nobody. We've had this plugin on the server for more than a year now, give or take, and you're only realizing it now because you know it's there. It had no impact on your gameplay for the past year, but now it's suddenly too overpowered and shouldn't exist?

That does not make it okay to hide things from the community per se, but that's a topic for another time.

Zammo is a different case though, I strongly believe that zammo shouldn't be a thing, even with all the nerfs it's still strong. You cannot simply have both zammo and rebuys. Rebuys were fine as they were without the money plugin that dogan implemented, which I do not agree with as well but that's another thing.
To counteract what Kaka said regarding the newer players. How should they know what Zammo is if they don't know about rebuys/binds? Doesn't really make much sense to me.

Zcleanse is fine as it is, with the latest changes. I see no issues with it.

But on the order hand: ZE is fucking old dude, why make it deliberately harder? You should nurture what you have instead, playerbase wise.

Take everything with a grain of salt as I've stopped playing this game actively months ago and don't really care anymore. All that being said I don't know why I wasted my time writing this but it's been done now.

well zammo and zcleanse have been discussed often before but discussing relevant topics often is like what people normally should do. As time move on several factors change such as the currently active playerbase as well as the currently active admin team. Also the currently active map rotations tend to change, people do a bit variation in how often certain fag maps are overplayed (how often skyrim/paramina/westersand/bioshok etc etc are played on a weekly basis). And well people also tend to switch opinions on topics as they grow older and gain new experiences as people. Maybe some people also just get bored of the game and think that removing these two features would make it more entertaining for them.

Point is the community constantly moves and hence we should always be ready again to seriously change things if needed
 
Just imagine though, one day event, 2012 settings. Let's do it for the Leeeelzzzz :D

I think it'd be pretty cool if similar to how gfl used to have special settings sunday where you could vote for specific server settings at the start of a map, if unloze had something similar that could be voted on by players like how you can vote to extend maps in surf, or on n4a.
 
What I'm reading is that zombies should win more, and/or that there should be less ct's that wins (whereas the better/tryhard ct's would probably win about the same still, which already sucks *lasers, bhop* *cough*).

I guess everyone have seen the current playerbase, which have been about the same for over a year ish now, so let's not nerf ct's more shall we
