Oh boy...

Don't forget to join the CS:S Zombie Escape Server Saturday the 11th of May 2019.
The hour will be 4pm GMT+0.
The Event will be scheduled on the Steam group too.
(If a mistake is done with the Steam group event, keep this hour as the real one)

How will the event be?
We will play ze_moltentemple_a4, a map which is currently hosting a contest on it ! Check here for more information about the contest : https://unloze.com/threads/contest-ze_moltentemple-contest.1582/
For this event, we will play the map in its Full Mode.
Let's do our best to win the contest !

Important: Since this might be a long event, server rules will be enforced more strictly. Too much off-topic mic conversations or other attempts to disrupt the leading or the event will be handled directly with a punishment potentially lasting the entire event.

_a5 with some balance changes will be released after the event, I have added 3 nice saves to the map to save people who fail at these spots as a confirmed change, I have also (hopefully significantly) improved fps, I don't think it would be fair to release before the event however, and i want to decide if any other changes should be made after the fps improvements (which will help with some jumps significantly)

this should make it easier to throw bodies at the triggers at lower risk at minimum
further changes are likely but i shall wait till later
 
Don't just add saves tbh, zms are completely rendered useless and cannot rely on anything to turn the round around. Add zm items or else it's just headbutting against insane knockback of bullets, or wait for humans to fail triggers as they tp back to spawn.

Right now, the map is too easy to beat, IF, the players know the triggers, and there's a solid defense. Zms can do absolutely nothing.

Well, if players know the triggers and there's a solid defense every map is easy. Don't you agree?

This is false, as there are multiple maps where either there's a zm item that can offer a chance for the zombie team to easily end the round, or, the map itself offers a chance for zombies to bhop the hell into human groups without much chance for them to hold back, not unless they have to retreat or be more careful, or have a sick aim.

I heard about it. But as it turns out, they were giving their first few tries, so of course, they had to fail plenty. On Unloze however, there were already plenty of chances of training, and opportunities for the playerbase to discover the map and get used to it. The map was played before the event already, so it was expected they'd do better.

All I'm saying is that if you're a zombie at the start of the round, you got no chance, and that sucks, might as well go spectate or go afk, either way you'll end up on spec. Your map's first stage doesn't offer any good spot for zombies to turn the game around.

My suggestion still stands, zm items. I'd also suggest bhop slopes for zombies to take advantage of, but considering what the map's all about I guess the best chance you've got to make it decent is with zm items.

That's my personal two miserable cents that nobody will probably fucking care about, sucks to be mother zm on the winning round, and you don't know what you can or can't do till you're put in that situation.

Let's see what that next version will bring us. Till then.
