Uhhh hi,

For those who might be lurking in GFL they should already know me, but for the others let me introduce myself.

My name Pyrono or Pyro for short.
I'm a huge ze fag just like the rest of ya, but ain't lazerfagging. I am more the teamplayer.
And for the thread to be more populated, I want to ask you how did you came in contact with ze as a gamemode? What was the server you played and for how long?

I would love to hear some of your anwsers and your thoughts.

In that case I wish ya a good Easter Monday.

Welcome to Unloze nignog :wlenny:

And for the thread to be more populated, I want to ask you how did you came in contact with ze as a gamemode? What was the server you played and for how long?
I returned to PC gaming from Xbox 360 in 2012 after finding my brother's HL2 box and reading about how good it was; I then remembered playing a form of zombie gamemode on CSS when I was very young (around 2005-7 time). When I started playing CSS again, I searched for zombie servers and came across Hellz. That's how I started ZE, but I didn't really start playing it until about 2014 on i3D; I went inactive when i3D shut down and n3xt didn't really go anywhere, but I returned to Unloze and really started sweating it about 1 year ago.

Hello Pyrono, good to see you here :3

I stumbled upon ZE by accident. When I was smol, I was playing ZM in Counter-Strike together with my brother. Sometime some years later at around 2009 I bought CSS to play ZM there and accidentally entered a ZE server. Ever since then, I stopped playing ZM more and more and started playing ZE. I never really cared about the communities back then. Instead I had a bunch of servers favourited and joined the ones playing the maps I wanted to play. I've only started talking to people and become committed to all that since 2-3 years back.

I'm usually all for tryharding and teamwork. That's why I often try motivating the teams and sometimes leading them. I may not be the best leader but it always feels great when I manage once in a while to lead a team to victory, especially on very difficult maps :3

I just needed a new gamemode where I could show everyone that I was better than them.... I found ze and it worked. Then I meet a fucker called @jenz that kinda challenged me... Watching him running around in ze racemaps with his damn scout... (This was when he actually tried :wlenny: ). I destroyed him (ofc) and proved once again I was better than everyone. Now a days we only see FF fags.. No real skill behind, just muscle memorie..

Hey, Purono. Nice thread, indeed. Btw, happy Easter to you, too.

My story is quite interesting (not like MEEP's :hdlenny: ). When I got my first decent PC with the Internet connection in 2010, I began playing CSS. I got bored with the regular classic servers quickly, but didn't want to give up CSS. So, I soon discovered zombie mod. I spent some time playing on a Russian ZM server and community run by a little local ISP operating somewhere in Moscow suburbs. I played there for quite a long time, discovering maps, their secrets and just having fun. I even made an admin application there, eksdee, but it was rejected cuz I was 15, and not 18, as they required. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I got tired of these maps and started to seek for the new ones. So I got familiar with European servers. Most of them were French, and they played lila panique very much. There I started teaching the others some bad words in Russian. Yeah, I did it before it was the mainstream. xD

Sorry, I got a bit distracted from the point. At that time I played ZM with my classmate from college. He told me once about "a zombie server where maps change every minute". And he added: "Well, not really maps, but... I donno how to describe it, you should try".
At first, the idea sounded ridiculous for me. I was sceptical and thought how could it be fun, so decided to try myself. My friend invited me to a Western server, and we played some oldschool map. I don't remember the name of the server – I didn't pay attention to it, but I can recall that the ping was high – it must have been an American or an Australian server. I don't remember the map's name either, but still I remember the map itself. The only thing I can say about it now that it was created for an Australian ZE community.
Of course, maps didn't change, as my friend described it, but holding locations did. And I really liked it. It seemed more interesting for me than just sitting in one place for 5 minutes and shooting at one point like a tard. :feelstardman:

Anyway. It was 2011, and there were no decent Russian ZE servers at that moment (nothing has really changed since then :lul:). I had already learned some English, so I decided to try to play on Western ones. My first community was called .Bad . It was a British community, I played there under the nickname ToLyanSter and I even got banned there permanently once, after violating the "English only! USA" rule. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Maybe it was some kind of a silly attempt to troll, I don't remember exactly. But anyway, I realized my mistake, apologized on the forums and got unbanned.

I played there for some time, I enjoyed their Surf-DM server as well, but then the community was dying. There was a break in my gaming history because my PC got broken and a couple of months passed before I had it repaired. When I came back, I joined another server – hellz.fr. I met lots of friendly people there and got familiar with many tryhard maps that we play today. I saw the rise of FF maps, not only saw – I took part in testing Westersand v2 (my grandchildren will be proud!). I watched new maps appearing and improving, and it really fascinated me. Since then for me ZE was not just a mod, and hellz.fr ceased to be just a server – it was the whole community. I got really involved in it. Many things were being introduced, many encouraged a better gameplay and kept the community alive. Nobody knew the word "solo" back then, everyone knew "what the team win is really all about". And teamwin was actually in favor. Good old times...

Still, some time later, in 2013 approximately, or even earlier, I lost the interest and left CSS. :feelsbadman: I played some other games like GTA SA-MP, War Thunder, EVE Online, CSGO... Sometimes I did launch CSS. Hellz.fr had died, and I played occasionally on GFL.com, but I was not prepared for the amount of Lifeblood of Zombie Escape and toxicity they had, so I was not really active.

Things changed in spring 2016, when I got back to CSS ZE. The server I played on was GFL.ru. I played there for a couple of months, again, occasionally. Nothing really to tell about it.

Then I discovered UNLOZE. (I donno why I'm typing this, but I feel proud for you if you are still reading it :ezdolan:Maybe you got bored already (sorry) cuz I also type this for myself as well – I want to remember all the details for the future)
So, it was May (shut up with your "it is May" meme :harambe:) 2016, and I liked the server from the very beginning. Here I met some of my old friends and acquaintances from hellz.fr, and I found new ones. I liked how alive this community was. It felt like home. UNLOZE was not only a ZE community, we also had fun on the minigames server.
Since then I didn't really change my home ZE community to another one. I was inactive for some months when I had to repair my PC, and when I was busy studying and grinding in EVE Online, or – later, in 2017-19 –tryharding in CSGO, then in Overwatch.
When my PC was fine in February 2017, I also began to play on UNLOZE again. Then I decided to upgrade my PC in September and got lost in CSGO. After that I was active on the server again and even became an admin here in March, 4th, 2018. My activity depended heavily on my study, work and my interest in other things.

But I'm still here. Talking to you guys on discord when I'm bored at work. Playing with you on the server and helping the players there. I want to thank you guys for all these hours I've been having with you and in this community. :')

Wew, that's such a wall of text. Donald Trump would be proud :president: Thanks for reading it, guys, hope you enjoyed the complete story of a ZE fag called Tom :wlenny:

Pivo won't even understand it. Don't translate it to him either, because he will perm ban you for that. This is how I got a perm ban there :lul:
Pivo must hate translations in general so much :wlenny:
Every day I hear stuff about Pivo that makes him even more of a meme.

It was a young Pyrono who was gifted CSS from a good friend on his old account way back in 2009-2010. First I only played Deathmatch and 5v5's but I soon got bored with it so I searched in the Community browser and then I found it ZombieEscape I was interested and decided to hop in and I was blown away the Maps the Players where so much different then I got used to. Young Pyrono was happy he played for day and night. Even hidden his Laptop under his pillow so he could play it in the night time without my parents noticing it. The first Server I played on was PlaugeFest back then It was good. I played and played until the Server died after some Ooopsies made by the owners. Then I moved to GFL and stayed there. Sometimes I was on Unloze and once in Net4All, but it wasn't what I was looking for. Now I lurking on both GFL and Unloze from time to time. And on January 2019 I became Admin in GFL. Like imagine a Russian guy being admin, what's the worst that could've happen. There wouldn't be any aboose from a Russian guy right? RIGHT??
